College is Dead. Long Live College

Special thanks to Brenda who posted this Time Magazine article in her PLE. I found it very interesting: http://nation.time.com/2012/10/18/college-is-dead-long-live-college/.

The article mentions Udacity, which is a site that offers massive open online courses (MOOC) for free. Once I am done with the IT program at the University of Tennessee, I may give their Intro to Computer Science class a try.

I agree! And Marc, be sure to check out the article and TEDtalk video I posted recently (Nov. 7) about Scott Young and how he took all the free MIT courses in their computer science program in one year!
